Jack Russell has been in the optics business since 1968. He founded Russell Optics in Woodstock, Virginia in 1978 and moved Russell Optics to West Rutland in 1983. During that time our “Family” has grown to become a cohesive team of conscientious professionals.

Russell Optics supplies extremely High Precision prototype Optics to: Research Laboratories and Observatories, Universities, Manufacturers of Interferometers and the Aerospace Industry. Our large satisfied customer base is World Wide and our reputation for quality, accuracy and dedication is impeccable.

We are a major manufacturer of Optical Flats and carry them in stock as well as reconditioning and certification of our customers flats.
